General Process

1. How do I request a custom commission?

2. What types of artwork or items can I commission?
   I have a strong preference for painting animals and other forms of nature that inspire me. While I do enjoy the challenge of portraits, I prefer to take them on only on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that each piece resonates with my artistic spirit.
   

3. Can I customize an existing product from your shop?
   That depends. Feel free to reach out to me so we can chat!
   

4. How long does it take to complete a commission?
   Anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months, depending on the size of the project and if I'm juggling any other creations.

Pricing and Payment

1. How is the price of a commission determined?
   Sometimes I’ll give you a set price, while other times I’ll share a price range, with the minimum and maximum amount that it could cost.

   * Price is determined by size and complexity of the image.

2. Do you require a deposit, and if so, how much?
   Yes, a 50% deposit is required for me to start your piece
   

3. What payment methods do you accept?
   Cash, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp and Apple Pay
   

4. Are payment plans available for commissions?
   Yes! Just make sure to communicate that with me.
   

5. Is the deposit refundable if I cancel the commission?
   If I have already started your piece then the deposit is not refundable.
   

Delivery and Shipping

1. Do you ship commissions internationally?
   There are several factors that goes into shipping internationally. Please reach via email so we can chat!
   

2. How will my commission be packaged for shipping?
   I have spent around 5 years in the shipping industry. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. I will do my best to make sure your package is secure and prepared to handle the rigors of transit.
   

3. Can I request a specific delivery date?
   I am not the carrier, which means that unless I am delivering locally, I cannot guarantee a delivery date. That said, if you would like to pay more for shipping, there are options that can get the piece to you within a few days.
   

4. What happens if my commissioned piece is damaged during shipping?
   If anything arrives damaged, please review the Shipping FAQ page so we can have a successful claim!

Revisions and Approval

1. Will I see progress updates or drafts of the work?
   If you would like to see some progress pictures, please feel free to reach out.
   

2. How many revisions are included in the process?
   I want you to be happy with your piece, so I will allow three revisions per commission before varnishing. Once the varnish has gone on, I am unable to go back and alter the painting.
   

3. Can I request changes after the commission is completed?
   Nope!

Additional Questions

1. Can I use my commissioned piece for commercial purposes?
   If you are wanting a commission for commercial purposes, please notate that in the request form as we will need to work out a contract.
   

2. What if I have an idea but don’t know exactly what I want?
   Let’s chat about it!
   

3. Do you accept rush orders for commissions?
   Yes, however, I have a full-time job outside of making art. Rush orders will incur an additional 25% charge on the total price and will be completed within two/three weeks.

4. Can I gift a commission to someone else?
